Junior Muster – 9am, Sunday 21 MarchThe ITA Junior representative muster will be held on Sunday, 21st March at 9am at Jim Finimore Oval, Leichardt. Muster is for under 10’s to under 16’s boys and girls to participate in carnivals at Toowoomba, Redlands and Southport leading up to the Junior State Cup at Caboolture at the end of the July school holidays. Annual General Meeting – 11.30am, Sunday 21 MarchAll clubs, players and interested persons are invited to come along and participate at the ITA Annual General Meeting. The meeting will be held at the Jim Finimore Oval Club House and a BBQ and beverages will be provided. Come and join the committee? We are looking for people to come and join the team. Is there something you want to improve or change? This is the best way to do it. Come and get involved and help influence the running, and the future, of Touch Football in Ipswich. Positions vacant - We are specifically looking for people interested in coordinating promotional activities, season communication and grand final arrangements. Roles – President*, Senior Vice President, Junior Vice President, Secretary*, Treasurer*, Promotions/Communications Coordinator, Grounds Coordinator*, Grants Coordinator, Grand Final Coordinator, Committee Members.*paid positions The Executive meets approximately 2-3 times a season. Current projects for the ITA include working with the Ipswich City Council to improve clubhouse facilities, review lighting and communication methods of the Jim Finimore Oval, consider options for expansion of fields and competition, actively support and promote junior touch football initiatives, with a view to becoming the region’s home of touch football! |
